Itinerary

Day 1: Bishkek – Ala-Archa National Park

  • Start your adventure with a trip to Ala-Archa National Park, an incredible alpine reserve located just an hour's drive from Bishkek.
  • Wander along picturesque trails that wind through snow-capped mountains, flowing rivers, and fragrant juniper forests.
  • In the afternoon, head back to Bishkek and consider taking a city tour, where you can explore Ala-Too Square,
  • the vibrant Osh Bazaar, and the informative State History Museum.

Day 2: Bishkek – Karakol (via Grigorievka & Semenovka Gorges)

  • Depart early for Issyk-Kul Lake, known as the “Pearl of Central Asia.”
  • Stop at Grigorievka and Semenovka Gorges, where lush meadows and towering mountains provide a perfect setting for a picnic by Grigorievka Lake.

Day 4: Karakol – Bokonbaevo (via Jeti-Ögüz, Barskoon, & Fairy Tale Canyon)

  • Trek or take a UAZ back to Karakol, then drive to Jeti-Ögüz Gorge, famous for its red rock formations like the "Seven Bulls."
  • Stop at Barskoon Gorge, home to picturesque waterfalls and Soviet-era monuments.
  • Visit the Fairy Tale Canyon, known for its stunning, wind-sculpted rock formations.
  • Arrive in Bokonbaevo, a traditional Kyrgyz village on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul.

Day 5: Bokonbaevo – Naryn (via Kochkor – Shyrdak Show)

  • Drive to Kochkor village, a center of Kyrgyz handicrafts.
  • Experience a Shyrdak Show, where artisans demonstrate the ancient art of Kyrgyz felt-making.
  • Continue through dramatic landscapes to Naryn, a town nestled between mountains.

Day 6: Naryn – Kel Suu Lake (Horseback Riding & Overnight in a Yurt)
