The World Nomad Games are more than a sporting event — they are a celebration of nomadic life, culture, and traditions that have been passed down for centuries. People from all over the world come together to experience ancient games, music, crafts, and the unique spirit of nomadic peoples.
During the Games, a traditional nomad camp of more than 150 yurts is set up in Kyrchyn Jailoo, a beautiful mountain valley about 30 km from Cholpon-Ata, near Lake Issyk-Kul. Here, visitors can see how nomads live, taste local food, listen to folk music, and feel the real atmosphere of nomadic life.
First held in 2014 in Kyrgyzstan, the World Nomad Games quickly became a major international event. After being hosted in other countries, the Games are returning to Kyrgyzstan, where it all began, making this a very special time to visit the country.
This 10-day group tour is designed for travelers who want to fully experience the World Nomad Games while also exploring the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan. You will visit Son-Kul Lake, one of the most iconic high-mountain lakes in the country, where you can stay in yurts, ride horses, and enjoy the peaceful nomadic lifestyle.
After the Games, the journey continues around the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, known for its stunning landscapes, colorful canyons, and traditional villages. The tour combines exciting nomadic sports, breathtaking nature, and authentic cultural experiences, offering a journey you will remember for a lifetime.
