About 40 kilometers separate the Ala-Archa Natural Park from Bishkek. These kinds of sports, such as hiking, horseback riding, skiing, and mountain climbing, are popular in this park on weekends. Within the park’s boundaries are around 20 small and big glaciers, about 50 mountain summits, and two tiny rivers that get their start in the melting waters of these glaciers.
